Who We Are

Creative Motivations Inc. is a nonprofit organization that focuses on teaching youth and adults computer technology. We aim to impact change in the community by giving youth and adults that may lack internet services, computers or other access to technology the opportunity to learn skills that will enhance knowledge in the IT field. We’ve been an active organization in Greensboro, N.C. since June 5, 2021

Our Mission

We aim to change lives by offering access to education and resources in technology that empowers our communities to discover IT and develop vital entrepreneurial skills.

Our Vision

We know that the future is brighter with the help of technology and that great ideas can come from everywhere. We also know that the sooner those individuals are exposed to the opportunities within the IT industry – the more time they have to develop those world-changing solutions. We hope to build a global community of educated, IT entrepreneurs (of all ages) with the help of our technology and entrepreneurship camps and clubs, local business partnerships that believe in the success of our participants, and interactive facilities that inspire individuals to explore!

Our Story

A Message From Our Founder

Creative Motivations Incorporated is a nonprofit organization that is organized for charitable and education purposes. This nonprofit was birthed from my for-profit company, Triad PC Clinic. Triad PC Clinic is an IT company that focuses on commercial and residential businesses that need technology services. Through my for-profit company, I begin teaching individuals computer technology and I knew it would make a great impact working with youth. As I meet clients, I am often asked about teaching their children for the summer or having a program that will enhance their skills in the IT field.

In my research, there were limited youth computer programs that teach entrepreneurship that focus on career paths. Data has indicated that technology is on the rise and 63% of K-12 teachers use technology in the classroom setting (EDTech,2020). University of Phoenix survey reported that daily classroom tech use is up from 55% in 2016 and growing (EDTech,2020).

As technology is growing worldwide, I know the youth will be the next generation to create, to explore and to develop software for economic growth for the future.

In 2020, we had an unexpected life changing event, COVID-19, that took the normalcy from working, schooling and day to day life. During this pandemic, technology became essential to keep people connected and has changed much of how people interact. As social gatherings were not permitted, through computers, people were able to stay connected and teachers were able to teach students via apps. As the pandemic progressed, the need for IT Services got greater. Student learning was challenging; parents had to learn to navigate through student portals, there was a lack of access to internet services and the lack of computers, which all made it difficult to learn. As I worked on setting up computers for families, churches, and other businesses, I saw the need to teach youth a trade that will enhance their learning in the new norm.

This pandemic only confirmed my vision to start this nonprofit organization and offer services that will give the opportunity to learn skills through technology that can impact change in communities that lack internet services, computers or the accessibility to purchase what is needed for their child’s education. Creative Motivations Incorporated was developed out of a need in our communities. The name was created because it allowed the youth to be creative in learning new skills, being able to explore using their own creative mind and talents; to be motivated by the staff and to inspire others on the journey for their career paths.

I know that it takes a community to make a change, therefore; I will partner with other nonprofit organizations and businesses that can provide additional resources and services that can help make our youth successful and enhance our programs.

My quest is to provide services that offer hands on experiences with mentors, coaches and teachers. My goal is to give these youth an opportunity to learn a trade that can be used for a lifetime.
